Italiener vinder engelsk designpris

I foråret 2014 præsenterede en af italiens nok mest hypede cykelmærker Pinarello, deres nye Dogma F8 landevejsracer for verdenspressen.  Efterfølgende kunne cykelsportsfans se det nye vidunder i aktion i Team Sky farver på de europæiske landeveje.

Nu kan Pinarello, Jaguar og Team Sky så føje endnu en hæder til deres samling ved at vinde Guldprisen indenfor kategorien Product Design, Sport and Active life i den prestigefyldte London Design Award. Dogma F8 er en samarbejde mellem Pinarello, Jaguar, og Team Sky.

Ved prisoverrækkelsen udtalte Fausto Pinarello: “This award is confirmation that the Pinarello Dogma F8 is the best bike in the world. We always look for ways to improve
our bikes and the ability to bring new technology to our award-winning Dogma range using Jaguar’s cutting-edge aerodynamics capability and Team Sky’s world
renowned race expertise was something very exciting for Pinarello.”

Mark Cameron, Direktør for Jaguar Land Rover tilføjede: “It’s a huge accolade for Jaguar to receive this award in only our first
year as Innovation Partner to Team Sky. It’s richly deserved recognition for our design and engineering team, who helped develop this ground-breaking bike that
delivers exceptional performance and style on the road.”

the world’s most innovative cycling team to produce something stunning. A performance gain of above 6% in one year’s development is extremely impressive. I’ve

performances by integrating their design and engineering resources to develop new products to train and race with.
